How to apply for a Stamp Duty Concession?

At your appointment, we will assess your eligibility for any Stamp duty concessions and apply for the relevant concession on your behalf. You can also visit ACT Revenue Office’s website to find out more about stamp duty concessions.

Do I need to contact you for an Auction Contract Review?

You are not legally required to get legal advice before an auction. However, once your bid is successful, you are immediately bound by the terms of the contract. The terms of the contract cannot be changed after the auction. Therefore, we would highly recommend that you obtain legal advice before attending the auction.

Contact us for a discussion. We can provide same-day auction contract review as well as general guidance about the process.

What is your Fee? Is there an extra cost for emails or calls?

We operate on a fixed fee basis. Our fees are made up of three items:

  • Professional Fees- The fees we charge for our legal services;

  • GST- Goods and Services Tax; and

  • Disbursements- Third-party costs that we incur on your behalf. For example, the cost to order general rates and water inquiry from the relevant authority.

Our professional fees will remain fixed, and we can give you an estimate of the disbursements that are likely to be required for your matter. Further, we do NOT charge extra for any calls or emails during your transaction.
